This common bond led them to raising and showing quarter horses. They showed locally at the saddle clubs and then progressed to showing at AQHA shows. Together they were able to accomplish far more than ever dreamed, which included raising an AQHA World Champion, a Congress Champion, multiple AQHA champions along with many other award winners.
