Highway 76 – Water Main Relocation

White House Utility District runs miles of water main every year. GreenLID is very proud to have designed many of its service lines. The design for the relocation of the Hwy 76 Water Main is one of the most exciting we have had the opportunity to be involved with. The project required the rehabilitation of a major water line under Interstate 65. In addition, on the east side of the Interstate, the water main had to be routed under Frey Branch. In order to complete the project, not only did GreenLID have to meet with the Tennessee Department of Transportation to coordinate their future plans and permitting, but also Aquatic Resource Alteration Plans had to be applied for and proposed to the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation. This level of collaboration was difficult to attain but was very satisfying to execute.
